So, I had a bunch of energy drinks the other day. Amp's "Elevate" to be specific. What's interesting is that it contains a ton of L-Theanine. So what's so special about it you may ask? I noticed that having a lot of theanine increases my attention to details, my sight and smell seemed to become much better and clearer than usual. I'm fairly sure that Theanine was the reason for this, but I intend on finding out soon. I'm going to the store in a few minutes here to look for some, I'll keep you all posted.

It does also have a ton of caffeine right?
ReplyDeleteI need to find some sort of magic energy drink without caffeine or anything else that messes me up. Sometimes when I drink a can of Pepsi I get jitters for 36 hours.
L-Theanine sounds interesting though. :0
Actually, the caffeine content in Amp is lower than most energy drinks. However, it is still higher than a can of Pepsi, so I'd take it all in stride. Another interesting effect is that l-theanine somewhat counteracts the caffeine, so you don't get too jittery. You can check out more about it here:
